Ahhh... I'm not even sure where to start with this one! My first wedding of 2017 was the wedding of one of my dearest and closest friends in the whole wide world! This gal and I go way back to our college days at SPC in Levelland. The Gypsy, or Jamal as I call her, was studying music and I was just trying to figure out where my life was headed. We met when this crazy looking gal wearing a skirt and jeans walked into my work with her guitar. She was there for the Tuesday night Jazz Jam at the Mean Woman Grill. A few months later Jamal started working with us at the grill and it was awesome! Lots of fun times and crazy adventures were had by us Mean Woman gals.
We both moved off and went separate ways after SPC, but were reunited several years later when the Gypsy was out Gypsying around playing music. Luckily she decided to stay in Lubbock and I introduced her to my husband. They started playing together and Matt was the first official "Traveler." Over the past few years that I've had the Gypsy back in my life I've seen her overcome more than most do in a lifetime and blossom into an even more beautiful than before little butterfly. Fast forward to November, I called her to see if she would be able to help me out some that week with some admin type stuff and she told me that she was in trouble and had met the girl she was going to marry! A few weeks later these two started hanging out and the rest was history! I was honored when they asked me to help them commemorate the day for them and am super excited to present Gypsy Jayne and Torrie Laine Atchison!
The wedding was a beautiful intimate ceremony that was held at Amusement Park Recording Studios in Lubbock, Texas followed by an open jam style reception at Bash Riprock's Bar and Grill. The wedding was officiated by The Lovely and Talented Miz Ayn.
Welcome to our family Torrie! xoxoxo
